DxO Software - New Cameras & Lenses support (16 April 2024 update)

@Marie
Hi Marie
When do you plan the Samyang 45mm f1,8 FE and Samyang 24mmf1,8 FE for Sony ?
Thank you
Regards
Philippe

Since it was mentioned that in autumn work would continue on sigma lenses, I would like to request support for the new sigma 20mm f1.4 dg dn art lens, specifically for l mount. Thank you.

Fantastic! As additional information: For this lens I found 3 different EXIF entries. One being as mean as “after the name I just additionally hit the space bar 27×” and the other firmware dev said “just one more time than you”. No idea what 27 or 28 blanks are good for, except making other people’s life a bit more complicated.

It’s a really great lens, isn’t it? I like it very much.

Another vote for Sigma 20mm f1.4 DG DN for Sony

Is there some news about Viltrox lense for Nikon Z (85mm)?

@Marie
Hello Marie, I’d also love to see the Samyang 45mm F1.8 FE supported!
Best regards

Hey Marie

Five HD Pentax lens calibrations planned for this autumn - all the made-over FA Limiteds, the new DFA 21 Limited, and perhaps the most sorely overdue DA* 16-50 PLM. Now, this is excellent news, and the DxO-using Pentax community will surely appreciate it.

This also renews our hopes that some remaining gaps will ultimately be filled, notably

  • HD Pentax-DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 Fish-Eye ED
  • HD Pentax-DA 560mm F5.6 ED AW
  • HD Pentax-FA 35mm F2

Regards
Marc

As @madaboutpix has said, the Pentax community will appreciate this. Pentaxians may be a relatively small band, but there is a lot of support for DxO products. This will help. Well done DxO!

Let’s hope the other lenses mentioned by @madaboutpix will also get profiles.

Hi Marie,

What a coincidence, that PL6 was released just today.
However, I am (still) missing “HD Pentax- DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED PLM AW”
Do you have any idea when it will be available?

Kind regards,
Aloys

Or when the Sony E distance will be returned to the Windows program?

Please keep us informed on the X-H2, really looking forward to support for it, I will then purchase upgrade from 5 to 6, so sooner you add it the sooner you get my money :slight_smile:

I was curious:

PL6 Demo, last version

There are already Lumix 24/1.8 and 35/1.8 “available” which were introduced 2 years after the 35/2 and at least 1 year after 24/2.

24/2: Nothing

Also, for the 35/2 Panasonic S5 as body is excluded. But the much bigger and chunkier S1 variants are included. Small lens, supported by big bodies. If there’s any logic involved here, it’s beyond my small comprehension.

I’m so glad I switched back to C1 with manufacturer profile support instead of constantly being annoyed by huge periods of waiting and then still no complete support. @Marie, these are no weird exotic manual focus lenses adapted on rare bodies, but official participants within the L-mount alliance, and you start with the youngest lenses and ignore the ones longer in sale.

Good to have the demo-period. No PL6 then for me.
