Hello @slaw,

.NET Framework 4.8 is not supported by DPL 3 yet. Try to install .NET Framework 4.7.2 and launch DPL 3 again.

Let me know, if this doesn’t solve your issue.

Hi.
@alex i have already installed 4.7,
Maby i’ll try install 4.6?

I installed a lot of configuration: as administrator, open as administrator , unistall a lot of.

2019-11-20%2009_29_16-Funkcje%20systemu%20Windows

On my second computer is 4.8 and working well.

I think this is not .NET problem.

@alex i have more question about installation.
On this site: https://support.dxo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115012651148--This-app-can-t-run-on-your-PC-Windows-
… is wrote, that files size can’t be less than 422MB, but currently version DFL3 is only 337MB version 3.02 ,but 336MB 3.01

This are actually information on the site, or i have damage instalation setup file?

@slaw,

The size of the DPL 3.0.2 installer is 336MB. The size of the folder where DPL 3.0.2 is installed is 473MB on my computer.

Could you please go to C:\Users<user>\Documents\ and check whether the folder “DxO PhotoLab 3 crashes” exists? If yes, zip it and share here.

@alex isn’t exist ;/

@slaw,

Could you try to download and install .Net Framework 4.7.2 from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net472?

If it doesn’t help, please try to uninstall DPL 3.0.2, make sure its installation folder is removed, and install it again.

I have more information: When i try install new .NET 4.8 I received message: You have already installed .NET 4.8 or later"

Sooo, maby i have 4.8, but system show me (4.7.2) on the list feature another information, and this can be .NET problem

Do you have some commend, how can I check my real .NET version?

@slaw,

Let’s try to find a fix for your problem step by step. Please try to install .NET Framework 4.7.2 from the location I mentioned above.

@alex i’ll be waiting for fix issue DXO
I tried DXO Photo Lab 2 - the same issue.

But unistall .NET 4.8 is imposible. This goes from windows update and isn’t good to unistall, becouse next update come back. This update KB2828152 below isn’t exist current version windows, and are dependent from another application and system processing.

Microsoft say clear:
“.NET Framework 4.5.x/4.6.x/4.7.x/4.8 cannot be uninstalled using this package. To uninstall .NET Framework 4.5.x/4.6.x/4.7.x/4.8 from your computer, go to Control Panel, choose Programs and Features, choose View installed updates, select Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2828152) and then choose Uninstall.”

If You will have some fix , let us know !

Thanks

Sławek, what happens if you open Windows PowerShell as Administrator and run this command?

sfc /scannow

@slaw,

We are already working on switching to .NET Framework 4.8. Please wait a bit for an updated version.

@alex i have no choice, but if You not fix it to 24.11 I’ll lose 30% SALE.
But then will think about buy becouse this is big different.

Hello @slaw,

  • Well, even if you buy it now and the issue won’t be fixed (which is a rare case) then, you’ll be provided with the refund. But in most cases even specific to the user’s PC issues are resolved successfully.

Svetlana G.
