This is with DPL 5.0.1.41 on macOS 11.6.1 on iMac 2019
When I change history depth settings, I get a popup, that cannot be acknowledged.
Neither of the options will close the popup.
When DPL is quit, the new value is stored and appears to be effective.

You are on M1 or intel ?
