Two suggestions:
Allow people to copy and paste them, rather than having to manually enter them four characters at a time.
If you’re not going to do that, don’t have codes with B as the only non-digit in a twenty (or twenty four, if you count hyphens you don’t enter) character code. It looks an awful lot like 8 in some popular typefaces…
