I would like to be able to work on photos on my desktop computer and then on my laptop when travelling. This would involve using a single external drive for the data connected to the currently active computer, no transferring between 2 drives. Will this work if I have the database location on the external drive. Any potential problems with keywords, modules,nik etc. I am about to upgrade from photolab 4 to 5. Photolab 4 is currently only on 1 computer.
Try to also move workspace, preset and module files over to the external drive (external ssd) for best working. This can save space and make the environment the same for both computers.
